Exclusive Amalfi Coast Boat Holiday

Day 1 - Amalfi

Your first stop will be Amalfi, where you can moor in the marina located right in the heart of the city. This is where your discovery of the Amalfi Coast will begin , among the colourful alleys of this enchanting city, where you will be left breathless by the majesty of its cathedral.

Amalfi, the largest town on the Amalfi Coast, is today, together with Positano, one of the destinations that attracts the most tourists to the entire coast.

The special and unique architecture of its white houses, the favourable mild climate that embraces it for most of the year and the characteristic artisan shops make it a perfect tourist destination, chosen by thousands of Italian and foreign visitors.

Among the most famous monuments, the Amalfi Cathedral certainly stands out. Built in the Arab-Sicilian style, it is dedicated to Saint Andrew, the patron saint of the city.

Day 2 - Capri

On the second day, you will set sail for Capri, where the famous Blue Grotto and the iconic Faraglioni rocks await you. After touring the island, you can book online to moor at Marina Grande, or anchor at Marina Piccola (near the Faraglioni) or further out, where you will find buoys available for a fee that include a landing point. To reach the centre, simply take a city bus.

Don’t forget to stop off at Anacapri, which can be reached by direct bus or taxi, and take the chairlift to the top of Monte Solaro, where you can admire the most spectacular view on the island. You will have plenty of time to enjoy an aperitif in the Piazzetta di Capri, before continuing the evening in dreamlike restaurants, with live music to accompany you until late at night.

Day 3 - Ischia

On the third day, you will depart for Ischia, where you can dock at the port of the small village of Sant’Angelo to admire the classic landscape of a Mediterranean town by the sea: colourful houses, narrow alleys, craft shops, ice cream parlours, restaurants and bars with outdoor seating will welcome us during our visit.

The island has several ports and, depending on what you want to do and visit, you can choose the one that is most convenient.

The port of Ischia is the largest and busiest, with ferry connections to other islands and the mainland. Among the other ports, we recommend booking a berth in Casamicciola, Lacco Ameno or Forio Porto. However, the most picturesque port remains that of Sant’Angelo.

Day 4 - Procida

Start your day with a refreshing dip in Sorgeto Bay: a veritable open-air thermal park.

Hot springs, mineral waters, saunas and therapeutic vapours await you for a unique experience. Then, head to nearby Procida, the island made famous by Massimo Troisi’s film Il Postino.

Don’t miss an evening in Corricella, a typical postcard image of the island, with small, colourful houses, charming restaurants and fishermen busy weaving their nets.

The colourful island of Procida is the smallest in the Gulf of Naples, but it still has much to discover. Most tourists choose Capri or Ischia for their holidays, making Procida a hidden gem that will make you fall in love instantly.

Day 5 - Sorrento

On the fifth day, you will set sail for Sorrento, a land of colours, sirens and large gardens. Sorrento will captivate you with its many attractions and breathtaking views.

Sorrento is renowned as the city of lemons and has a long history of tourism . It was, in fact, an obligatory stop on the nineteenth-century “Grand Tour”, and interest in the city was initially sparked by the poet Byron, who inspired a long line of literary geniuses on holiday – including Dickens, Goethe and Tolstoy – curious to savour the Sorrento air.

The romance is still alive today, and you can feel it with a stroll through Piazza Tasso, especially on Sundays, to mingle with the locals. Along the way, you will pass sumptuous hotels, magnificent inlay shops and simple Campania trattorias where you can enjoy traditional cuisine.

Day 6 - Positano

Circumnavigating Porta Campanella, you will head towards Positano, one of the most famous destinations on the Amalfi Coast. Along the way, you will pass the Bagni della Regina Giovanna, the Bay of Ieranto, a marine protected area, and Nerano: you could stop for lunch at one of the many restaurants on the beach!

After passing through the small archipelago of Li Galli, the incomparable view of Positano will appear with its endless stairways and alleys perpendicular to the sea. Lose yourself in its colourful and lively streets: you can dine in an exclusive restaurant with a view, or under the starlight on your boat. Positano does not have a harbour, but you can moor your boat at the buoys: there is also a 24-hour taxi boat service to reach the mainland.

Day 7 - Farewell

The return trip to the port will offer you magnificent views and unforgettable photo opportunities.

Stop at the Fiordo di Furore for a dip in the sapphire blue waters. For lunch, you can stop at Conca dei Marini, a small fishing village along the coast, and then enjoy the icy waters of the La Marmorata waterfall along the way.

You will return to the Marina D’Arechi base by 5 p.m. to complete all check-out procedures. There will be one last evening of your holiday to spend in Salerno, easily reachable by taxi.

Then, you can spend your last night on board your boat: disembarkation is scheduled for the following morning before 8 a.m.
