A 10-day outdoor activity tour in the Dolomites
Welcome to Italy! At Milan airport, you will meet your private English-speaking driver who will accompany you to the charming centrally located hotel, where you will be welcomed by the friendly staff.
Milan, with its various industrial sectors, it is considered the main industrial city in Italy. It is like a magnet for designers, artists, photographers and models.
It also has a beautiful and ancient town centre dotted with palaces and monuments, a reason that pushes every day millions of visitors from all over the world to visit the city of charm.

Today, after breakfast you will transfer to Trento by bus or by train.
Trento is one of the top Italian cities in terms of quality of life and the environment, it hosts events all year round and is the perfect starting point to discover the rest of Trentino. History, culture and nature: these are the three pillars that form the foundation of Trento: a city with about 117,000 inhabitants and the capital city of Trentino-Alto Adige.
The history is that of the prince bishops, for centuries unrivalled signori of this flourishing city, a meeting point between the Mediterranean and continental worlds, which in the Sixteenth century hosted the famous ecumenical Council.
Culture is alive thanks to the prestigious University, to the MUSE - the world-famous museum of natural science, to the Castello del Buonconsiglio, to the precious Museo Diocesano, and to many other museums and historical sites worth visiting. As far as nature is concerned, just take a look around: massive mountains embrace your gaze, trees and parks make the city centre breathe, and the Sardegna waterfall makes the view of the city unique.
Today, after breakfast you will have an amazing hiking experience on the Dolomites with special traditional lunch.
The Dolomites are unique mountains of their kind, we will discover them on foot and away from the chaos but in safety and walking immersed in nature, with an environmental hiking guide, who, with many years of experience, knows all the most beautiful places to walk in nature and enjoy breathtaking views, perhaps hoping for a meeting with the local fauna. You will stop for lunch in a refuge with excellent specialities of mountain cuisine.
At the end, your driver will take you back to your accommodation. Upon you return you will have leisure time at your disposal.
Today you will have free time to explore Trento.
We suggest you head to tyhe Piazza Duomo. Here, you can stop under the Fountain of Neptune for a photo of the impressive Duomo [Cathedral] of Trento, with the mountains in the background.
On its left-hand side, with castellated walls and the high Torre Civica, lies Palazzo Pretorio, home of the Diocesan Museum of Trento. Now you can walk around the fountain to admire the beautiful Renaissance frescoes on the Cazuffi Rella homes, focused on the themes of Justice and Luck. After sipping a coffee at one of the bars overlooking the piazza, you can decide whether to visit the Duomo or to walk along Via Belenzani, to admire the frescoes of Palazzo Alberti Colico, Palazzo Thun, and Palazzo Geremia.
Another stop in Trento must necessarily be at Castello del Buonconsiglio, an elegant and robustly fortified castle, a ten-minute walk from the piazza. For centuries, the castle was home to the prince bishops of Trento, and today it hosts numerous art and archaeology collections, as well as contemporary exhibitions.
Don’t forget to visit Torre dell’Aquila: the walls of the tower depict the Cycle of Months, a precious testimony of Gothic art. Just outside of the historical centre, we suggest you visit the Gallerie di Piedicastello and the Gianni Caproni Aviation Museum.
Today, after breakfast you will have another amazing Dolomites hiking experience.
Your private driver takes you to the meeting point where you will meet your guide for hiking on the Dolomites. We will make a hike lasting a few hours on mountain trails, to discover the Dolomites with a healthy physical activity. We will be surrounded by nature and we will be able to see some breathtaking views of the Dolomites so that the effort will be amply repaid.
There may be an opportunity to taste excellent local mountain products such as mountain cheese, it will be possible to stop for lunch in a refuge with excellent specialities of mountain
At the end, your driver will take you back to your accommodation. Upon you return you will have leisure time at your disposal.
Lake di Tovel si considerate the most charming Trentino lake, thanks to our amazing guide we will explore the most panoramic path, and at the end we make meditation to rebalance your energy. With your car you come to the parking area near Lake Tovel (the road remains closed during the months of summer; access via the boat-bus). You follow the track along the shore of the lake and after approx. 300 m you turn onto the path no. 309, directing to the Tuena-alp. Form a while, you will now follow the famous Brenta-Dolomites-Trek, but in the opposite direction. From the alp, the path continues on the left via the forest road no. 310 (starting even). After a short rise, it turns right. Here you leave the path and continue to the left, descending through the pastures and following the signs of the Brenta- Dolomites-Trek directing to Doss della Dena. This path continues high above the green pastures and along the foot of the mountains Tuenna and Livezza.
Finally, it descends and unites with the path no. 312. Shortly after, you will see a beautiful alpine hut for shepherds (Bait della Dena). You continue downwards and turn left onto the forest road that leads you back to Lake Tovel.
What is more exciting than a ride in the countryside to enjoy the landscapes of the Dolomites? You are probably thinking that you are not trained enough and that a cycling holiday is not within your reach. Perhaps you do not yet know the slopes of Trentino: here, cycling tourism is real philosophy, with proposals aimed at everyone, including families with children.
Today awaits you an exciting tour of the Dolomites by bike with wine tasting. You will see breathtaking landscapes of UNESCO heritage world. You will experience true emotion along path adapted to be covered by bicycles completely out of traffic, climbing also uphill climb that will leave you speechless once you reach the top.
On the way you will stop to taste excellent typical wine! At the end your driver will take you back to your accommodation. Upon you return you will have leisure time at your disposal.
Today, grab your paddles and explore one of the most stunning gorges in Italy that can only be reached by kayak during this 3-hour adventure! You will enter into one charming Castle and proceed to the green Valle dei Laghi, where you can enjoy the strong notes of Reboro wine and the ones of Vino Santo. Then you will come down along the green slopes of Monte Corona and cross the beautiful Piana Rotaliana, site of the prestigious Rotari and Donati wineries.
After this journey through some of the best wines of Trentino, enrich your experience with a visit to one of the Castles of the Provincia Autonoma di Trento.
From Castle Beseno, the biggest and oldest fortress of the region, to Castle Stenico, a charming manor that keeps jealously its precious treasures; the visit continues to Castel Thun – a beautifully furnished residence of an illustrious family – and to Castel Caldes, a manor that combines the severe appearance and architectural elegance. As the last stage of this journey, the well-known Castello del Buonconsiglio, a sumptuous residence of the Prince-Bishop and casket of the frescoed-cycle ( “Cycle of the Months” ) kept inside its 14th-century tower, Torre Aquila.
