This magnificent estate dates back to 1066 AD, and at the end of 1800 the Rinuccini, a historic Florentine family, enriched the estate with trade. In 1935 the villas passed to the Counts Rossi of Montelena. Nowadays, the estate offers you the opportunity to stay in rural houses adjacent to the magnificent 18th-century villa, surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan landscape and enjoy unforgettable local experiences.

The estate offers comfortable accommodation, with the benefit of private living spaces as well as shared areas on the estate. Casa Villa can seat 20 together for meals, and catering is available on request. There is a restaurant about 200m away.

The shared swimming pool is surrounded by a large sun terrace with sun loungers and a shaded gazebo with sofas, immersed in the silence between olive groves and vineyards for total relaxation. Some of the private gardens are equipped with a gazebo, chairs, and a barbecue or grill.

While staying here guests can enjoy a wine tasting tour here on the estate. The tour gives an introduction to the history of the villa, a tour of our wine cellars and of our Vinsantaia, a special room where our dessert wine ages. Other unique experiences available here include a Bees Experience, Cooking Class and Truffle Hunting.

The estate is also very close to Florence for a day exploring the cultural and artistic treasures of the city. And there are several other interesting Tuscan towns to visit, with a wealth of festivals throughout the year as well as wonderful gastronomic opportunities. Or hire one of our bikes and cycle around the estate, walk one of the trails, or get on horseback to explore.
