Moonlight serenades on a Venice gondola, deserted beaches on the Amalfi coast, pizza in Naples and gelato making in Florence. This is the journey of a lifetime, 19 days across Italy that we designed for a couple’s honeymoon. Incorporating boutique hotels, famous attractions and many exclusive experiences, it’s a dreamy route through the popular and unknown of Italia.

    Of course, the route is completely customizable to your interests. Every couple is different and we’ll work with you to fine tune all the details. The itinerary below is an example of a tour we led, taking in Venice, Florence, rural Tuscany, Chianti, Cinque Terre, Rome, the Vatican, Naples, Sorrento, Amalfi and Naples.

    Day 1: Arrival in Venice

    Welcome to Italy! Upon your arrival in Venice airport, you will meet an English speaking assistant waiting for welcome you and transfer by private water taxi to your hotel in the historical city center. Accommodation at Hotel centrally located and free time to explore the city center on your own. A welcome dinner tonight will be served in a typical restaurant within walking distance from your hotel. Overnight in Venice.

    Day 2: Venice tour and Bacari tour [breakfast, bacari tour]

    Breakfast at hotel. Morning meeting with an English speaking local guide for 2 hrs walking tour of this unique city. Venice is a magical tapestry of Renaissance buildings perched on narrow canals with sleek gondolas gliding silently beneath ornate bridges that will leave you breathless. During the tour you will have the chance to admire St. Mark’s Square and its Golden Basilica, a marble and golden fantasy and one of the most gorgeous containers ever built to display the relics of a saint. Continue to the Bridge of Sighs and Rialto Bridge, till to see from outside the majestic Doge’s Palace. Lunch on your own and balance of the day at disposal for personal activties.  Late afternoon meeting at your hotel with an English speaking assistant to enjoy a special Venetian experience: a Bacari tour! They are usually served with delicious plates of traditional foods, bread croutons or polenta with salt cod, marinated anchovies, fried fish and grilled cuttlefish, but even with cold cuts or cheese. Dinner on your own and overnight in Venice.


    Day 3: Gondola Serenade with Prosecco [breakfast]

    Breakfast in hotel. All the day will be at your leisure for personal activities and optional tours in the city center. Late afternoon you will enjoy the romantic experience of Gondola tour with serenade and prosecco along Venice’s famous Grand Canal. You’ll be captivated y the glamour and elegance of Venice and its magnificent palaces and churches lining the Grand Canal as you glide along in an authentic gondola. The musician will board one of the gondolas to perform throughout the trip. The tour takes about 35 minutes and balance of the evening will be at your leisure. Dinner at leisure and overnight in Venice.


    Day 4: Train to Florence  [breakfast, dinner]

    Breakfast at hotel. Morning check out, meeting with an English speaking assistant and private transfer by water taxi to Venice train station, on time to take the high speed train to reach Florence. Once arrived in Florence,   private transfer by car to the hotel centrally located and time at leisure to relax and discover the city center on your own. Tonight youe dinner will be served in a traditional local restaurant walking distant from the hotel , that will give you the chance to taste some Tuscan special food. Overnight in Florence.

    Day 5: Florence city tour and Gelato making school [breakfast, gelato lesson with tasting]

    Breakfast in hotel. Morning meeting with an English speaking local guide in the lobby of your hotel to enjoy a walking guided tour around Piazza della Signoria, the main square of the city and to admire Ponte Vecchio, Pitti Palace, the Church of Santa Croce, the Cathedral with Brunelleschi’s Dome, and the adjacent Baptistery with its renowned “Gates of Paradise” doors. The visit also includes a stop to visit the Accademia of Art, where you can admire the David of Michelangelo. At the end of the tour time at leisure to relax before to attend a special activity in Florence: Gelato Lesson! The chef will tell you why gelato remains Italy’s favorite dessert and he will give you a presentation and tasting of some of the flavors used in gelato making. You will learn the development and application of natural colors, the heating and freezing techniques and how they have different effects on ingredients. At the end of the lesson of course you will taste your Gelato.  Overnight at your hotel in Florence.


    Day 6: Full Day tour in Pienza, Montalcino and Montepulciano [breakfast, cheese and wine tasting]

    Morning meeting with a driver and an English speaking assistant to depart for a Full Day private excursion dedicated to visit the villages of Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pienza famous over the world for their old tradition of food and wine. You will stop on the hill town of Montalcino, completely encircled by fortified walls, situated in the Val d’Orcia, not far from Mount Amiata. It is a special place to spend a day immersed in Tuscany’s history and countryside. Climbing to the top of the hill you will have stunning views over the valleys all around, characterized by vineyards, olive trees, fields and other little villages. Here you will taste the famous wine “Brunello di Montalcino” in a local cellar. Continue to Pienza, a charming village known as the “ideal city of the Renaissance” but better famous to be the city of Cacio cheese. The “Pecorino of Pienza” is a cheese made from sheep’s milk that of course you will taste in one of the local factory. The town streets are full of small charming shops selling a large quantity of various types of pecorino, from fresh to aged pecorino, that you can taste together with a number of other local products, such as fine wines, spices, handmade pasta and so on. The last stop before to come back in Florence at the end of this special day will be Montepulciano, a medieval wonderful town, full of elegant Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, charming squares and hidden corners with splendid panorama all over the Val D’Orcia and Val di Chiana. A walk through Montepulciano is the best way to view the town and its beautiful landmarks as well as enjoy a tasting of their local famous Nobile wine. Late afternoon you will come back at your hotel in Florence. Time at disposal to relax and dinner on your own. Overnight in Florence.


    Day 7: Full Day tour in Chianti with wine tasting and lunch [breakfast, wine tasting and lunch]

    Breakfast in hotel. Morning meeting with a private car and departure for a Full day excursion in Chianti area. The Chianti wine region is a gorgeous part of Tuscany, and Castellina in Chianti is one of its most evocative medieval towns in the Chianti territory. With incredible views, intimate piazzas and some wonderful restaurants, boutiques and art galleries. During the visit you will stop to visit a local cellar and enjoy a wine tasting followed by a light lunch with local specialties. In the afternoon transfer back to your hotel in Florence. Dinner at leisure and overnight.



    Day 8: Transfer to Cinque Terre [breakfast]

    Breakfast in hotel. Morning check out and private transfer to the train station, on time to take the regional train to La Spezia (Cinque terre area). Once in La Spezia, transfer to the hotel and time at leisure for personal activities or to discover the city center. Dinner at leisure and Overnight at your hotel hotel in La Spezia.

    Day 9: Cinque terre tour  [breakfast, lunch]

    Breakfast in hotel. Morning meeting with an English speaking guide and departure for a Full Day tour dedicated to discover the Cinque terre area. A tour in a corner of paradise, a unique area subdivided into 5 villages suspended on steep cliffs overlooking the sea. You will have the chance to visit Manarola, that probably is the most characteristic village of the Cinque Terre and you will walk along the famous “Love Road”; Monterosso, for a walking tour of this old fishing town considered the pearl of “Cinque Terre”; Vernazza, a small fishing town centre developed around a little harbor hollowed in rock that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will use public trains and boats to reach all the villages with your guide. Late afternoon return to your hotel and time at leisure to relax.  Lunch will be served in a local restaurant during the tour and dinner on your own. Overnight in La Spezia.


    Day 10: Train to Rome [breakfast, dinner]

    Breakfast in hotel. Morning check out and individual transfer to the train station on time to embark on the train to reach R
    ome. On your arrival in Rome train station, meeting with a private car and transfer to the hotel centrally located. Accommodation and time at leisure to relax. Tonight you will enjoy a special dinner to taste the famous Pasta “Cacio e Pepe “. Overnight at your hotel in Rome.

    Day 11: Half Day Classic Rome and Vatican tour [breakfast]

    Morning meeting with an English speaking guide to enjoy a panoramic walking tour in the historical city center to walk with your guide to Navona Square famous for its Bernini’s masterpiece and its beautiful fountains; the amazing Pantheon, one of the most well conserved monuments of the Ancient Rome; Spanish Steps and final the wonderful and famous Trevi Fountain. Lunch on your own and afternoon dedicated to visit the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Private transfer to the Vatican area with an English speaking guide to visit the Vatican and its breathtaking Museum including the Sistine Chapel. Stroll through St. Peter’s Square, passing Bernini’s famous colonnade, visit St. Peter’s Basilica, where you will view Michelangelo’s Pietà. At the end of the visit transfer back to your hotel. Time at leisure to relax. Dinner at leisure and overnight in Rome.


    Day 12: Day at leisure and Pizza Lesson in a local restaurant [breakfast, dinner]

    Breakfast in hotel. All the day will be at disposal for personal visits and individual activities or dedicated to the shopping in the famous and chic Via Condotti. In the afternoon transfer to a local restaurant where you will share with other English speaking clients, the experience of a Pizza Lesson. A local chef will guide you through the Italian tradition of preparing pizza dough from scratch, explaining techniques and tips on making the best dough, and how to properly dress the pizza. After the lesson of course you will taste the products prepared. Transfer back at your hotel and overnight in Rome.


    Day 13: Day at leisure and Rome by night tour with a stop to taste the special “maritozzo con panna” [breakfast, dinner]


    Day 14: Panoramic tour with Colosseum [breakfast, dinner]


    Day 15: Train to Naples and transfer to Sorrento [breakfast, dinner]


    Day 16: Paestum and Mozzarella tasting  [breakfast, dinner]


    Day 17: Full Day Amalfi Coast with pizza lunch  [breakfast, dinner]


    Day 18: Full Day tour Naples and Pompeii with wine tasting and local products [breakfast, dinner]


    Day 19: Departure [breakfast, dinner]
